FICTION SHOWREEL
It’s an all-consuming passion that has drained me for several years, that of telling stories. After having produced and directed hundreds of music videos and commercials, I wonder if it might be time to start developing subjects that have been close to my heart for a long time. Insight, a fantasy project presenting a realistic extraterrestrial accident, but also two other projects being written on police cases inspired by significant events. In my showreel fiction, you will be able to see some shots of the teasers presented to production houses.

A treat of nervousness, inspired by events in our daily lives that must have happened at least once in our existence… Initially planned for a feature film adaptation and available as a short series, Super Nervous has the principle of always developing a consequence much worse than that which is at the origin of the « failure of lead » of our hero. You will notice that I obviously have no grievance against Apple!
Une dose de stress intense, inspirée d’événements du quotidien qui nous sont tous arrivés au moins une fois… Initialement prévue pour un long métrage et disponible sous forme de mini-série, Super Nervous repose sur le principe que la conséquence sera toujours bien pire que la « défaillance » de notre héros. Vous l’aurez compris, je n’ai absolument rien à reprocher à Apple !

It is in a way the confession of a Jihadist. His rage and his hatred let him spread his venom on today’s society, without filter, his tone filled with disgust. An apparently Maniquean short film, but not on its second reading when it comes to evoking its vision of HEAVEN and HELL. Where does he finally feel better? In Paradise ? Or in Hell?
C’est en quelque sorte la confession d’un djihadiste. Sa rage et sa haine le poussent à déverser son venin sur la société actuelle, sans filtre, sur un ton empreint de dégoût. Un court-métrage apparemment manique, mais qui, à la seconde lecture, révèle toute sa profondeur quant à sa vision du CIEL et de l’ENFER. Où trouve-t-il finalement le bonheur ? Au Paradis ? Ou en Enfer ?

On the set of VUP, Rochelle Grégorie, who plays the Sarcastic Nurse, told me that she had worked for a few years at the Telephone Rose. She even wrote a collection of very interesting discussions she had on the phone with these overexcited men of the night who masturbate behind their phones. I found his story incredible and almost immediately offered him to play his own role in a re-invented story. A shoot that plunged her back into her true past, for our pleasure…
Sur le tournage de VUP, Rochelle Grégorie, qui interprète l’infirmière sarcastique, m’a confié avoir travaillé quelques années à la Rose du Téléphone. Elle a même rédigé un recueil de ses conversations téléphoniques, pour le moins intéressantes, avec ces noctambules surexcités qui se masturbaient au téléphone. Son histoire m’a paru incroyable et je lui ai presque aussitôt proposé de jouer son propre rôle dans une adaptation. Un tournage qui l’a replongée dans son passé, pour notre plus grand plaisir…
